OUR POLITICAL

Voting is one of our most basic rights as American citizens; but in order to exercise that right you must be registered to vote! Members of the Bellevue Alumnae Chapter Social Action committee have taken their campaign to Renton’s Coulon Park, outside grocery stores in Bellevue, Renton and Seattle while also enjoying some sisterly bonding!

In order to vote in the state of Washington, you must be:

  • A citizen of the United States
  • A legal resident of Washington state
  • At least 18 years old by election day

Remember

You may sign up to vote at any time, but you must be registered at least 30 days in advance of an election if you wish to vote at a polling place on Election Day.

You may register IN PERSON no later than 15 days before an election. Contact your county auditor or elections department for more information.

You may also register to vote when you renew or apply for your driver’s license.
