According to reports from the U.S. Surgeon General's web site:

An examination of recent HIV infections shows that populations increasingly affected include African Americans, Hispanics, gay/bisexual men, intravenous drug users, women, youth, and persons over 50.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority continues its focus on HIV/AIDS education to help communities understand the impact this epidemic is having on individuals in our community.

As part of the Sorority's International Service Day for HIV/AIDS, the Bellevue Alumnae Chapter distributed literature to promote awareness to the disease. The Chapter is committed to incorporating HIV/AIDS education and awareness into its community service programs. We encourage individuals to view and copy information available from the U. S.
