Bellevue Alumnae at the 2004 Chef's Fest

Bellevue Alumnae chapter members participated in the YWCA's Chef's Fest to help raise over $45,000 for the Family Village transitional housing for the homeless. Sorors: Sandra Scott, Christi Edwards, Colleen Williams,Michelle Hayes, Gloria Mitchell, Ethel Thompson, and kneeling, Diesha Rodgers

2005 Chef's Fest

The goal of this year's fest is to raise $70,000.00 for new roofs and equipment for the family village. Ninety percent of the dollars raised goes directly towards the YWCA programs. The YWCA depend heavily of volunteers such as the members of Bellevue Alumnae.

Seasoned Chef's Fest participant, Soror Sandra Scott joined newcomer Pauline Hill as they tasted such dished as “Persille du Beaujolais” with Candied Walnuts and Cascade Huckleberries, at the 2005 fest!

The Chocolate Fountain

This picture shows the Chocolate fountain prior to patrons coming in for the 2005 Chef's Fest. Patrons enjoy a fountain of chocolate with various fruit as part of the activities.

Soror Sandra Scott became quite knowledgeable about wine while working with one of the wineries donating to the event.

Soror Ethel Thompson brings items to the table to get ready for wine and food tasting at the Chef's Fest. Chefs donated their time and talent to help raise money for the YWCA's transitional housing.

Soror Christi Edwards discusses arrangements for the table with one of her Chefs. As a Chef's volunteer, BAC Sorors helped Chefs set up tables, arrange for parking passes, and made sure the tables were ready for patrons at the silent auction.
